The Théâtre de l'Île

Created in 1974, the Théâtre de l'Île (The Island Theatre) is the only municipal theatre in Quebec. The building was Hull's first aqueduct building, constructed in 1886. Inadequate for fighting the city's fires, it was decommissioned as an aqueduct at the beginning of the twentieth century.
