Parc Laurier [should this be “Laurier Park”, or is its name only in French?]
Designed and built in 1901 by the E.B. Eddy Company, this digester tower was the first vertical and fully automated tower of its kind in North America. It remained in operation until 1972, and exemplifies the role E.B. Eddy Company innovations played in the economic development of the region.
