The Sabina Broadhead and Thomas Birks House
18 Taylor Street

This house, built between 1871 and 1876, belonged to Sabina Broadhead, wife of Thomas Heath Birks, who was the agent and bookkeeper for the Wright-Scott family, and one of the founders and presidents of the Hull Iron and Steel Foundry. The house is one of the oldest in Hull’s historic Brewery Creek district.
