The inscription on the back of this drawing describes the long hours of daily work undertaken by each family
member, with particular emphasis upon the laborious work of women to clean, prepare and sew caribou hide: "A
long time ago, the women would work with precision; their husbands would help... Those of you seeing my
drawings, farewell to all of you. I am smiling at you if you are reading this."
