Fanfreluche’s Costume
Fanfreluche, a doll with a big personality, enjoyed reading stories from a large book. She
loved to enter the stories themselves, changing them based on her own likes and dislikes.
This costume was worn by Fanfreluche in the show of the same name. Its bright colours made
good use of the new availability of colour television in Canada. The character was created
by Kim Yaroshevskaya, who played the role and wrote the scripts for stage and screen.
