Images of the Canadian Museum of Civilization

The Canadian Museum of Civilization is Canada’s largest and most popular museum. Designed by Métis architect Douglas Cardinal, the Museum is an architectural masterpiece located on the banks of the beautiful Ottawa River in Hull, Quebec, directly across from Parliament Hill. Devoted to exploring Canadian history, culture and art and of celebrating the civilizations of the world, the Museum attracts over 1.3 million visitors per year with spectacular permanent exhibitions such as the Grand Hall, the Canada Hall and the First Peoples Hall and a panoply of changing special exhibitions. The ever-popular Canadian Children`s Museum, the unique Canadian Postal Museum and a state-of-the art IMAX/OMNIMAX® theatre make the Canadian Museum of Civilization one of the premier cultural facilities of the twentieth century.
