THE
CANADIAN POSTAL MUSEUM
The History of Postal Communications in Canada Founded in 1974, the Postal Museum (CPM) tells the story of postal communications in Canada and around the world. In 1988, the CPM joined the Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC) and officially opened as a permanent location within the CMC in June of 1997. Offering a multimedia show, an art gallery, displays from the collections, thematic exhibitions and more, the Canadian Postal Museum demonstrates how Canadians communicate in writing, both with each other and with the rest of the world. |
